Meet Our Team

Dr. David Jacobson

Founder/Dentist

Hi! I'm Dr. David! I’ve been practicing dentistry for 14 years, and one thing I’ve learned along the way is how valuable great dental assistants are to every dental office. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping teach and support future dental assistants.

My goal in being part of this dental assisting program is simple: to help students learn what it’s really like in the dental field, feel confident in their skills, and prepare them for success from day one in a dental office. I believe that when you truly understand the “why” behind what you’re doing, the job becomes more meaningful—and a whole lot more fun. I’m big on hands-on learning, breaking things down in a simple way, and making sure you not only know what you’re doing—but why it matters to patients and to the dental team.

A little about me outside of dentistry—I graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Texas and completed my residency at the University of Minnesota.

When I’m not working or helping out with the dental assisting program, you can probably find me playing pickleball, munching on Pringles, playing board games, or watching Star Wars or Marvel movies with my family.

I look forward to helping you build your skills, your confidence, and your future in the dental field.

Samantha Jacobson

Founder

Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve spent years working as an office manager in pediatric dentistry, and I’ve developed a real passion for helping dental teams run smoothly and creating positive experiences for patients. Over the years, I’ve learned exactly what dental offices are looking for in a great dental assistant — from professionalism and efficiency to communication and patient care. My goal is to pass that knowledge on to students and help prepare them for real success in the dental field.

Outside of work, my greatest joy is my family. I absolutely love spending time with my husband and our 8 wonderful children. Whether we’re traveling, having family movie nights, or making simple memories together, family means everything to me. I’m also a huge fan of Costa Vida queso and will never turn down the chance for a good nap!

I’m so excited to be part of your dental assisting journey and help you gain the skills and confidence to start a rewarding career.

Nikki Bailey

Owner/Instructor

Hi, I’m Nikki! I’ve been a dental assistant for over 14 years, and my passion for dentistry has only grown stronger over time. For the past 8 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching and mentoring future dental assistants — and I absolutely love helping others find their passion in the dental field.

My approach to teaching is hands-on, supportive, and focused on real-world skills that truly prepare students for success. Whether it’s helping a student overcome nerves or celebrating their “aha” moments, I believe in making learning fun, encouraging, and rewarding.

When I’m not in the classroom or dental office, you’ll find me spending time with my family. I’ve been happily married for 5 years, and I’m a proud mom to a 15-year-old son who keeps life exciting. I also have two adorable dogs who are basically my other kids! And just for fun — I’m a self-declared Chick-fil-A enthusiast and a loyal Diet Coke fan.

My mission is simple: to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of dental professionals.

Danica Aylett

Owner/Instructor

Hi, I’m Danica! I’ve been in the dental field for 8 years now and absolutely love it—especially anything related to insurance. I’ve worked as an office manager in a pediatric dental office, where I also helped train new hires. Over the years, I've found that I truly enjoy teaching and have a real passion for helping others learn and grow in their dental careers.

On the personal side, I’ve been married to my best friend for 6 years. We love traveling together and making memories in new places. I love sushi —I could eat it any day of the week and I never pass up a sweet treat, especially if it involves chocolate.

I love connecting with people, sharing knowledge, and bringing positive energy to everything I do. I'm excited to help others excel in their dental assisting career!

Lexi Olcott

Instructor Aid

Hi, I’m Lexi! I recently got back from living in Brazil and had the best time learning the culture and becoming fluent in Portuguese. It was such an awesome experience. I’m excited to be back doing something I love and missed —dental assisting!

I started my journey in dentistry in 2023 and instantly knew this was the career for me. I love getting to work with patients, helping them feel comfortable, and being part of a team that truly makes a difference. I’m also currently pursuing my education in dental hygiene to become a dental hygienist, and I’m so excited to continue growing in this amazing field.

Now, I’m lucky enough to help teach and support future dental assistants (like you!) as you start this exciting journey. I remember exactly how it feels to be in your shoes, and I’m here to help, cheer you on, and share everything I’ve learned so far.

When I’m not in the office, in class, or studying, you’ll probably find me hanging out with friends and family or snacking on sunflower seeds! I’m so excited to be part of your learning experience and can’t wait to watch you crush it!
